Aimee Stanton is not your average tradie. Plumber turned DIY & Tiny House Creator - Aimee is a well-known face in the media for being one of Australia’s first Lady Tradie Presenters & a passionate advocator & ambassador for Women in the Trades.
From building & creating DIY projects to living more sustainable & everything in between – Aimee is a firm believer that anyone can get on the tools & give it a crack. She isn’t someone to shy away from hard work, in 2017 she Cofounded Tiny Stays – a company that builds off-grid Tiny Houses’ & rents them out as short term accommodation.
A dynamic Speaker & Presenter - she leverages the power of her own story of failure & perseverance showing her audience the value of following a non-traditional pathway in life. She believes that growth occurs personally and professionally when you are willing to step beyond your comfort zone. In 2017 she challenged herself by walking 600km solo from Melbourne to Canberra – highlighting her resourcefulness, resilience & the ability to create & share content that captivated many people.
Aimee’s can do attitude has been a breath of fresh air to our TV screens. From venturing into the jungle on Australian Survivor 2017 to coming 2nd on Channel 7’s popular renovation show House Rules in 2020 - Aimee & her partner Kayne deemed fan favourites for their positive vibes & laid back attitude were the first Tradie Couple in House Rules History.
Aimee works along side popular lifestyle brands to create DIY content. She is an Ambassador for Bisley Workwear & was involved in their design process for creating the new Women’s Workwear range in 2020. She strives to build authentic connections with audiences, crews, and co-workers.
